So a certain Druid in particular has been quite curious and full of questions since I mentioned “someone” and has been subtle about when might I post the current story I am working on. This story is staring two of my newest toons – Rosaelyn and Owain. It is possible that Rosa is me, since she is my former pseudonym from previous games before WoW. Owain is possibly my romantic interest.
Let’s just suffice to say this piece is inspired by real life, but still a good portion fantasy. I leave you all to wonder at which is which.
While I work on the remainder of the story, I figured a teaser was okie, since this is the one scene I have settled on as “finished” thusfar. You can thank lovely Matty and her tiny stories for convincing me to post this. 🙂
Just call this a girl meets guy, girl falls for guy, girl loses guy, guy realizes what a stupid mistake he made and gets back with girl kind of story.
Disclaimer: May contain an overabundance of sappy romance.

Can people really change?
The question kept flitting in and out of Rosaelyn’s head. She could not quite focus on it steady enough to study it. It was a hummingbird. It was there and then it was elsewhere and all she could focus on was Owain’s lips. Then, it was back, but only for a second, because the presence of his tongue took her breath away and with it the question.
When finally he pulled away, Rosa almost fell forward. Owain braced her gently, one hand on her shoulder, the other slid partly around her waist. His touch sent shivers convulsing through her and made her heart dance in her chest unevenly with anticipation. His amused grin touched every muscle of his face, crinkling most those around his beautiful sky blue eyes. The smile lifted the edges of his goatee, framing that smile.
That smile captivated her with the lips that formed it. Before she even knew she had moved, she was kissing him again. His lips were comforting, like a conversation with an old friend. And that was kind of what it was – unspoken words passing between them. It was as if only four days instead of four years had passed since their last embrace. Four very long days.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a kiss must surely be worth many times that.
Rosa’s hands slipped behind his head, caressing the closely shaved stubble there and pulling his lips more firmly against her’s.
There had been a question, maybe even a doubt, but she could not recall what it was. Ironically, that had always been his effect on her.
To be continued…
