Velen the Prophet

Laeleiweyn of World of Lae has challenged bloggers with 11 weeks of Alt Appreciation!  I happen to be a huge altaholic, because I love leveling, love learning new classes/specs, and I most of all love writing stories for my many characters!  So I definitely felt this was a challenge I had to take on.

Here is my post for Week 7.

#PriestWeek

I thought a collection of transmog outfits for my Worgen Priest was in order.  I wanted to show some parental influence, so as well as a very-Priest outfit and a Pandaria Priest outfit, I also made a Warlock and Druid outfit for her.  (I know, I know, I said Eduard was not REALLY a Warlock – so sue me.)

My Priests

The Priest is actually one of my favorite classes.  I was a Disc Priest before I was ever a Mistweaver Monk.  Even though I wish Iree were not melee, fistweaving comes natural to me because I enjoy Smite-healing so much.  🙂

PriestWeek - SifaolThis is Sifaol Wolfsbane, eldest daughter of Eduard and Gaeladrial.  Playing a Disc Priest is one of my favorite things.  When Cataclysm was announced, I immediately knew I wanted a Worgen Priest.  So throughout all of ICC, when I started playing WoW, I held off from creating a Priest, despite how much I wanted to level one.  As soon as Cataclysm was released, while I was still leveling Effy to 85 and gearing her for raiding (which was horribly painful as a gimped Resto Shaman… those dungeons…), I created Sifaol.  I enjoyed the Worgen starting area, and once I began running dungeons with her, I was hooked.  I even debated switching to her as my main for a while, because Shaman were in such a horrible place at the beginning of Cata, but once I started raiding with Effy in BWL and BoT, I remembered why I loved my Shaman.  I raided with Sifaol for a short while before I moved to Wyrmrest Accord, but these days she is just a side project.

PriestWeek - Brizaeyl-WRAPriestWeek - Brizaeyl-EluneBrizaeyl is a close friend to Laz and Effy.  She also bumped into my Night Elf DK, Caeridwen, in the short story Moonlight.  She became one of my favorite toons while playing on Wyrmrest Accord, but at the moment, she is only a bank toon.  (Yes, yes, I have a few…)

PriestWeek - ZhanaZhana exists because I was without Draenei Priest.  (The horror!)  She may get a story eventually.  For now, she is a distraction, among many, and an ignored one at that.  Actually, I am tempted to restart her with a name that is a variation of “Alexandria” which has recently become one of my favorite names, and seems fitting to a Draenei.

Keep an eye out next week, for my Alt Appreciation #RogueWeek post!

  1. That first set is so pretty! I’ve been thinking about doing something similar myself — perhaps because I’d already seen pics of Sifaol in that set? The “druid” set is wonderful, too.
